I was really concerned when they announced that they were going to do an American version of the office that they would ruin it, but they did a great job casting the American characters and the writing is just as good. I really thought they would have a hard time replacing the boss from the British version but Steve Carell is almost more neurotic and insane. I'm actually amazed that it is on NBC and that they have not canceled it yet because it's not really a show that most of America can appreciate.

Is the British one better? I haven't seen it yet. I've seen five episodes of the US one. I'll have to rent it.
