Close Up

Here are some pictures from Monday. We celebrated mom's birthday and ended up walking over to the flower gardens at Lake Harriet. I decided to play with the close-up feature on my camera. Here are some of the results:

My last photo is a companion to this:

The Album Cover

Here it is:

It's a picture I took of my niece. I think it would be the perfect cover art for a companion CD single.

It's a Kodak EasyShare CX7330 that I got at Target.

I like how the subject of the companion picture looks lithe and graceful playing outside, and I look like all my joints locked up simultaneously.

She can sing backup in our band!

Those pictures could be backgrounds for Dell computers they are so pretty! I'd be proud to have them on my desktop! Right now I have a picture of my cat....better on my desktop than dead in my garage!

Kristin's right. It almost looks like a "Windows" background. The lush green grass, the ultra blue sky peeking out and the pink socks contrasting with it all.

Matty--
Sorry I didn't call you back yesterday. I am a bad person.

Actually, I was in Mankato...working.

And I got a free bike from my new house. Yes, I was too busy getting a free bike to call you back.

I hope Hitchcock was hitch-cock-tastic. Ha! Cocktastic.
